I used to be in sales. I sold radio, TV, even ad agency services. Some folks love selling and thank goodness for them! We need things to be sold. It just wasn't me and trying to make it me felt so phoney! There's nothing worse than putting on a false personality everyday.

So, since I can't be a rock and roll star (which, let's face it, is my ultimate dream), I figured I'd be a quirky, artsy, graphic desinger type. They seem happy. Or at least deep, really deep. Oh yea, and I loved the little plastic toys on their monitors.

NOT COMPLETELY OUT OF THE BLUE

If that all sounds like a life-size non sequitor, you should ask my wife! But, it wasn't really out of left field. Years and years ago, I had an ad agency and did quite a bit of design for clients like Ohio Dominican College, Lane Avenue Shopping Center, Road Runner and more.

Now it's just me, the dog and the cat and a cup of tea. Oh, and a plastic toy on my monitor! So cool.
